I am an artist: painter, illustrator, cartoonist, creative director, graphic designer, lecturer, teacher, and guitar player.

Trained as an illustrator and graphic designer, I spent much of my career as a creative director on global brands. Over time, I found my way back to art. Painting and illustration became my home again. I interpret characters and imagine worlds that evoke mood and provoke reaction.

Inspiration can come from anywhere: travel, long walks, music, quiet daydreams and more. These fragments pass through the inner psyche and imagination, asking a simple question: WHAT IF?

​

My work blends people, animals, and creatures, real and imagined, with places, landscapes, nature, and abstract forms. Humor, whimsy, thoughtfulness, frustration, and fear all surface along the way. Working intuitively allows each piece to unfold in unexpected and often bold directions.

In my paintings, I build depth and atmosphere through layered acrylics, shaping dimension, color, and the flow of light. My illustrations draw from a wide range of materials: pen and ink, colored pencil, charcoal, gouache, pastels, and markers. Doodles often evolve into fully realized characters and scenes. Digital art programs and sketching are used to develop ideas and explore phases of work. I never know exactly where my head and hands will lead me.
